Just found this blog and think it's excellent you have this resource. I'm flying to Seattle tomorrow, for my first visit to your city. Can't wait. Blogs are such an excellent way to get an area's authentic flavor. jseattle hit it dead on with "that share the character of the city" but it's true - so many of us digress into the yet-another-public-hournal mode. Maybe I'll get something from both kinds. Thanks!

Few Seattle blogs and fewer comments! :) We're a shy bunch. I hope more blogs start turning up that share the character of the city without being yet-another-public-journal. I'm finding a few here and there that have a focused topic area, consistent posting and the occasional something interesting to say. Blogs like yours are starting to crop up so hopefully people can stick to their themes -- but when nobody is reading but your mom and old girlfriends, it's hard not to digress into public journal mode. Boo on that!
